We recently received this note from Alina Galea who works with Fundatia Caleb in partnership with us in the Lazareni a village in Romania. We thought we’d share what she said.”
“With living conditions harsh it is impossible for the mothers to keep their babies dry and clean during the day and night. With no running water they can’t even wash the cloth diapers they make.
It was always in our hearts to help these vulnerable moms. We are so blessed to now be able to provide two diapers a day for the mothers with babies under 2 years old. This month’s supplies was the greatest of all. Fifty-five babies got sixty diapers each!!! We challenged the moms to think about other families that are even poorer than them and don’t get any diapers. We gave them a chance to donate some of what they get. I was thrilled at the end of the distribution to see how any of them gave gladly. We will be able to send the 360 diapers that were given to another gypsy village!!! Wow …That is how giving generously is learned. We’re thankful to our friends and partners for the hard work and support to make this possible.”
Thank you to all of you who have supported this initiative. Let’s keep paying it forward.
